The BIOTEK  filter utilizes a totally unique backwashing jetting system called the "Fluff-N-Spin. Not only does the internal design of the filter allow for a "Fluffing" of the media during backwash, but spins the bed and each individual piece of the BIOTEK media. This causes the media to get rid of any old bio floc that might be clinging to each piece, while holding on to the precious beneficial bacteria with in the filter. There is no other like it.

Comes complete with 6 position Multiport valve that allows you to backwash, bypass to waste, bypass to recirculate, rinse. You can even use this filter to vacuum out your pond with the addition of a vacuum hose to your pump.

• The BIOTEK 1.25 is our smallest unit for ponds up to 1500 gallons.  It has a 16.5" diameter tank and is 36" tall. Complete with 1.25 cu. ft. of BIOTEK media. Valve openings are 1.5" with 2" unions for maximum flow.

•   The BIOTEK 1.75 is for ponds up to 2500 gallons. Tank is 19.5" in diameter and stands 37" tall. Complete with 1.75 cu. ft. of BIOTEK media. Valve openings are 1.5" with 2" unions for maximum flow.

• The BIOTEK 2.50 is for ponds up to 5000 gallons. Tank is 21.5" in diameter and stands 39.5" tall. Complete with 2.5 cu. ft. of BIOTEK media.  Valve openings are 1.5" with 2" unions for maximum flow.
